Chinese Language Education Platform
The teaching of Chinese in Peru has grown considerably in recent years. The Confucius Institute In Peru has led the way as a center of Chinese Language learning for Peruvians. More than 1,200 students have graduated in translation and interpreting from the training center, while 14,000 have taken up Chinese language courses.

It has four teaching centers in Peru, training professionals in translation and interpreting. The institute also acts as a cultural bridge promoting understanding and collaboration between Peru and China. The first Confucius Institute was established 14 years ago at the Ricardo Palma University in Lima.
"Our institute is attended by students of all ages who see China as an opportunity for professional development." said by Cecilia Tello Alvarez, Dierctor Confucius Instituter Ricardo Palma University.
The cultural relationship has deepened as trade and investment opportunities has grown. There are more than 200 Chinese companies operation in Peru, triggering a surge in the interest in learning Chinese. Peru has positioned itself as one of the few countries in Latin America to offer high-level academic training in Chinese.
