The 19th World Culture Festival of Beijing Language and Culture University will grandly open on April 27th. The cultural festival attracts international students from over a hundred countries and regions around the world.

The theme of this year's World Culture Festival is "Break the Time Bonds, Waltz the World at BLCU”. It consists of four major parts: colorful parade, opening ceremony, cultural performance, and cultural exhibition. There are five exhibition areas: the Five Continents Exhibition Area, the Chinese Culture Exhibition Area, the Student Service Area, the BLCU Achievement Exhibition Area, and the Interactive Treasure Hunting Area.

Four Major Parts

1. Colorful Parade

Time: 8:30-9:00

Location: East gate of BLCU along Wutong Avenue to the football ground.

Hundreds of Chinese and foreign student representatives will form a parade team, wearing traditional costumes with national characteristics, starting from the east gate of BLCU, and walking along Wutong Avenue to the football ground. Various flags are fluttering in the wind, ethnic costumes are dazzling, and the parade team enthusiastically showcases the customs of various countries to the audience.

2. Opening Ceremony

Time: 9:00-10:00

Location: Stage on the football ground

You will see the flags of countries and regions displayed, and Chinese and foreign students will present wonderful performances together, opening the grand prelude of the World Culture Festival with Chinese and foreign guests.

3.Cultural Shows and Performances

Time: 10:00-12:00, 13:30-16:00

Location: on the football ground

On the stage of cultural performances, Chinese and foreign students will join hands to bring exciting performances with unique national cultural characteristics. The dynamic drum beats, graceful dance steps, and graceful singing showcase the infinite vitality and unique charm of world culture.

4.Cultural Exhibition

Time: 9:30-12:00 13:30-16:00

Location: on the football ground and squares

In the cultural exhibition booth, you can experience world culture, educational culture, and so on. The display boards, cuisine, handicrafts, paintings, peripherals, and souvenirs are all dazzling and overwhelming. Don't forget to bring your World Culture Festival exclusive passport and collect stamps from various exhibition booths!

Five Major Exhibition Areas

1.Chinese Culture Exhibition Area

Location: The football ground

In the Chinese Culture Exhibition Area, we walk into traditional sports together and experience the ancient sports culture; Experience ancient handicrafts firsthand and create your own handicraft; Wearing traditional clothing, traveling through ancient and modern times, and exploring the world is also a good choice.

2.Five Continents Exhibition Area

Location: The football ground

The exhibition booth is themed around five continents, carefully designed with unique architectural styles and decorative elements, showcasing the cultural characteristics of each continent. Entering it feels like crossing time and space, immersing oneself in a colorful world cultural journey. The exhibition booth gathers handicrafts, specialty cuisine, and cultural treasures from all over the world. We can not only appreciate these exquisite exhibits, but also participate in them firsthand, learn about the history and culture of different countries, and experience the unique charm and charm of different cultures.

3.Student Service Area

Location: Basketball court

The Student Service Area is located on the basketball court of Beijing Language and Culture University. The area includes sections such as employment internship recruitment by employers, corporate culture promotion and exhibition, exhibition and consulting services for Sino-foreign cooperative education projects of our school, and rural revitalization theme exhibition, providing students with employment internship, further education consultation and other services.

4.BLCU Achievement Exhibition Area

Location: Square in front of the library

The exhibition area for educational achievements consists of three major enrollment departments: undergraduate enrollment office, graduate enrollment office, and international student office, as well as various undergraduate and graduate training units. This exhibition area is based on the educational achievements of various units of BLCU, combined with practical experience, and showcases BLCU's educational characteristics in a three-dimensional manner. Introduce BLCU's enrollment policies, provide consultation and Q&A services on enrollment policies, and provide parents with opportunities to have close contact with various colleges.

This exhibition area provides campus tour and explanation services for both parents and students.

5.Interactive Treasure Hunting Area

Location: Yifu Classroom Building

The interactive treasure hunting zone "Because Love Connections Us" is named after the English abbreviation "BLCU" at Beijing Language and Culture University, which is an extension of "Because Love Connections Us". It showcases the characteristics of people from all over the world gathering together in love and participating in this grand event.

A special zone with "one stage and multiple gameplay options" is set up. There are not only singing and dancing performances on stage, but also exciting programs such as traditional Chinese costumes shows, band performances, and diabolic show. At the same time, we also offers various gameplay options such as random dance, photo check-in, passport stamp collection, campus scenic treasure hunting, and live action storyline treasure hunting. Participating in the event will receive prizes as gifts!

About Tickets

All tickets of the 19th World Culture Festival of Beijing Language and Culture University can only be obtained through invitation from teachers and students on campus. On the day of the event, a ticket checking system will be implemented, and all participants (including the elderly and infants) are required to enter with their tickets. No admission is allowed without a ticket. Tickets are distributed free of charge, with real name authentication. Each ticket is for one person, and once collected, they cannot be transferred or resold.
