HSK 1 - Listening Part III & IV

HSK 1 has a total of 40 questions, divided into listening and reading sections. Check Introduction to HSK 1 Exam

Listening includes four parts, each of which has five questions.

We introduced to the first and second part of the listening section in the previous posts.

In the previous post, we provided a listening part II example. This is the answer. Did you do it correctly?

Let's take a look at the rest 2 parts of listening today.

 

③ Listen to the dialogue and choose the corresponding picture

 

Question Type

Questions 11- 15 are matching.

The  questions  in  this  section  are  based  on  conversations  between  two  people. 6 different pictures are given while 1 of them is an example. You need to select one that best matches the conversation among the rest five pictures according to the recording.

 

Answering Skills

1.Have a quick look at the six pictures before answering the questions and form your own Chinese expressions in your mind.Predict the possible conversations.

2.Pay attention to the key words and the essentials of the pictures and the conversations.

3.Choose what you hear and do not hesitate.

④ Listen to the sentence and the question, and choose the right answer

 

Question Type

Questions 16—20 are multiple choice questions. 

Three choices (A/B/C) are given.You are required to listen to the sentence and question and choose the right answer. In this part,the sentences are slightly longer than those in Part II. The contents involved are similar to those in Part Ⅲ. You will also encounter some barriers in answering the questions. 

 

Answering Skills

1.Have a quick look at the choices and predict the possible questions.

2.Take notes while you are listening in case you might forget what you hear.

 

3. Pay attention to the key words and the core part of the question.
